HISTORY:

The name of Ahmadani (احمدانی بلوج) is based on the name of Sardar Mir Ahmad Khan Baloch, who was the Nawab of the Ahmadani Baloch tribe. Most Ahmadani live in Basti Ahmadani, near Dera Ghazi Khan and Taunsa Sharif. The Mana Ahmadani and Basti Jamal khan Ahmadani Bakher Wah who live near Dera Ghazi Khan were originally part of the Ahmadani Baloch tribe; they migrated from Basti Ahmadani in 1876 during British rule.
